Two women, one man, and the silent scars left by war.
In a cramped apartment in Kyiv, Maria and Martha—the widow and the ex-wife of a fallen soldier—walk a fragile line between reality and madness. We witness the sharp, poignant, and sometimes absurdly funny clash between two women who seem to have nothing in common—except their love for the same man. As Ukraine groans under the weight of war, Maria and Martha cling to each other, to memories, and to a strange, desperate attempt to make sense of their loss.
With dark humor, raw emotion, and unexpected tenderness, Golem brings to life the story of the silent victims of war—the ones left behind, the lovers, the people whose stories never make the headlines.
A powerful, immersive play about love, loss, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
